The Community Service (PkM) program by the Tunas Indonesia Hospitality Academy (APTI) involved 50 housewives from Perigi Subdistrict, Pondok Aren District, with an interest in culinary entrepreneurship. The program aimed to introduce the “Alternative Culinary” concept to build skills and create self-employment opportunities using local ingredients aligned with modern culinary trends.Held over two days (27–28 February 2025), the training combined theoretical sessions with practical workshops. Participants learned beverage preparation techniques and the production of alternative cakes, gaining both technical skills and entrepreneurial motivation. Many expressed readiness to start small culinary businesses.The initiative also allowed APTI students to apply their knowledge in real-life contexts, reinforcing their competencies while fostering stronger ties between the academy and the local community. The program reflects APTI’s commitment to community development through relevant, practical, and sustainable skill-based education.
